Our strength lies in the combination of long-term family roots and operational experience from building and owning businesses over time. Our focus is on enduring growth and executable change.

We look for established Nordic companies with a strong market position, proven profitability, and a scalable business model with potential for further growth. We develop companies further in close partnership with a strong management team with the will and ability to realise that potential. Together we build businesses that employees, customers, and owners can be proud of.

Our values

We manage capital, companies and people with a strong commitment to integrity. As owners, we remain closely involved and make decisions that are sustainable over time. Our objective is to build robust, profitable businesses positioned for continued growth.

Responsibility, predictability and openness guide how we operate. We are clear in our priorities and consistent in how we follow through. At the same time, we maintain open and direct communication around both opportunities and challenges. This builds trust and supports effective collaboration over time.

Our owners

Embron Group is part of the J.C. Broch group, established in 1986 when Jørgen C. Broch acquired Norcontrol Automation from Kongsberg Gruppen (then NFT). Since inception, the business has been owned by the Broch family and further developed through active and long-term ownership. The group has been built step by step over several decades, with an ownership philosophy grounded in industrial development and operational involvement.

The group is organised into three main areas

1

Embron Group AS is the investment platform focusing on direct investments and asset management.

2

Embro Eiendom AS manages and develops a substantial real estate portfolio, including Horten Industripark, an established industrial and commercial area.

3

Embro AS primarily includes the car dealership business Follo Autoco, and hotel operations through Skarsnuten Hotel.

The J.C. Broch group is currently owned by the second generation of the Broch family, Ole Jacob Fiskerstrand Broch and Catharina Fiskerstrand Broch. The ownership continues with the same long-term perspective that has characterised the business since its establishment, with the aim of developing companies and value across generations.

Sustainability

Embron Group invests with a long-term perspective. As an active owner, we have both influence and responsibility. We use this role to drive sustainable development in the companies we own.

Long-term ownership requires sustainability to be integrated into operations, strategy, and culture. To remain competitive over time, both we and our portfolio companies must make deliberate choices that reduce risk, strengthen compliance, and contribute to responsible value creation.

Sustainability is therefore part of our investment process. We do not invest in companies because they are “green,” but because they have solid business models and clear potential. At the same time, we expect the companies to comply with applicable laws, ethical standards, and recognised principles for responsible business conduct. Sustainability should be a natural part of the business, not a side project.

Our portfolio companies are independent businesses responsible for their own sustainability efforts. We do not manage at a detailed level, but follow up through active board work and close dialogue with management. Where we identify areas for improvement, we initiate concrete measures and support implementation.
